These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OMNIVOTE.IO (https://www.omnivote.io), including lists, voting, accounts, embeds, and related features (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, or abuse the Service (including bots, vote manipulation, or spam).
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to create an account.

3. User-Generated Content

You may submit lists, titles, descriptions, items, comments, suggestions, and other material ("UGC"). You retain ownership of your UGC. By posting it, you grant Omnivote a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, and adapt that UGC as needed to operate, improve, and promote the Service (including public rankings, embeds, and share previews).

You represent that you have the rights to submit the UGC and that it does not infringe others' rights or violate law.
Do not post illegal content, malware, personal data of others without consent, or material that is harassing, fraudulent, or deceptive.
We may remove or refuse UGC at our discretion, including content that violates these Terms or our moderation rules.

4. Voting & Rankings

Votes, matchups, and leaderboards are community signals, not professional advice or official ratings. We use technical measures to limit abuse (for example rate limits and fraud checks). Attempting to game rankings with automated scripts, multiple fake accounts, or coordinated manipulation is prohibited.

Rankings may change as new votes arrive. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, placement, or visibility for lists or items.

5. Intellectual Property & DMCA

The Service branding, layout, and software are owned by Omnivote or its licensors. Embedded third-party media (for example YouTube or Spotify) remains subject to those providers' terms.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, follow the process in our DMCA Policy. Notices and counter-notices go to mail@omnivote.io.

6. Disclaimers & Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that UGC or rankings are accurate or complete.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OMNIVOTE AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

7. Changes & Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes may also be noted on the site.
